FROM OUR UK HEADQUARTERS IN WALES (2010)

It is now over a year since the Charity Headquarters moved to the Brecon Beacons in Wales (in January 2009). We hope you have enjoyed keeping up to date with events via the Newsletter, and of course Irene's Blog. Both can be accessed via this website so we hope you will visit us frequently. With 500 hits in 2009, please let others know how to find us. We pray that 2010 will see even more needs met through your financial & prayerful support, following the Local Government announcement that wages are to be cut by 25% and VAT set to rise too. 

Last winter we experienced a sample of the bitterly cold weather that many of our Romanian beneficiaries know only too well, and we thank you all for the contributions and events with which you have supported our efforts to provide Christmas presents, food and firewood to the needy around Arad. Through the love of Jesus we will continue to support and bring hope to a cross section of people, many of whom live in poverty and are at risk through poor nutrition and housing conditions combined with limited access to health care. Although our work is based in and around the citiy of Arad in Western Romania, it spans a large geographical area. We continue with the Charity's vision to  relieve poverty, advance education and the Christian Faith through our support of:

For He will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted that have no-one to help. he will take pity on the weak and the needy, and save the needy from death; He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.                      Psalm 72:12-14
